Public Biography
I am passionate about applying new technologies to improve people's health. I studied at the world leading institutions (PhD in nursing informatics- University of Pennsylvania, Postdoctoral research fellowship in text and data mining, Harvard Medical School, BA and MA, University of Haifa) and learned how to create smart information systems to help clinicians, patients and their families to achieve health goals. I also have experience in health policy (national and international levels), leadership (e.g. co-founder and chair of the Students Working Group with International Medical Informatics Association) and health entrepreneurship (start-up advisory roles). I was fortunate to collaborate with many excellent researchers and mentors around the globe and published more than four dozen articles focused on making information systems better and safer. My clinical experience is in Internal and Urgent Medicine.
