AMIA publishes a number of outreach materials for its membership and for external communities to provide news and views on a wide span of topics related to informatics.
Its bimonthly scholarly journal, JAMIA, publishes scientific research on informatics in biomedicine and health. Other digital publications published throughout the year provide updates on educational and professional meetings, health policy, government affairs, international standards, global activities, and informatics leadership and scholarship achieved by AMIA members.
