Nursing Informatics Innovators: Rosemary Kennedy
Rosemary Kennedy is the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer for Siemens Medical Solutions. In this role, she provides professional practice leadership over the development and deployment of solutions to ensure that nursing practice and inter-disciplinary requirements are met. She is also a practicing nurse in Telemetry and combines nursing practice with 18 years of experience in the clinical informatics field. Currently, Rosemary has been heavily involved in leadership roles in nursing informatics throughout the world. Rosemary is a delegate to the International Medical Informatics Association Nursing Informatics Special Interest Group (IMIA/NI-SIG) and sits on the leadership for AMIA, HIMSS, and The Alliance for Nursing Informatics, and DVNCN. In addition, Rosemary Kennedy is Executive Director of the Delaware Valley Nursing Computer Network and brings her skills in this arena to enhance understanding of the requirements driving customers' needs.
